Veganism is becoming ever popular across the world and it looks like hair and beauty brands are recognising this when it comes to developing their products. To celebrate World Vegan Month here at Cutting Club, Cleethorpes, we wanted to let you know about some of the amazing products we use in-salon. And share some fabulous homemade vegan-friendly hair mask recipes with you.
In-Salon Hair Care
We understand that our guests may have certain preferences, lifestyle or even allergies and where possible we try to accommodate those by stocking a range of different hair care products and systems.
Our Davines range is not only Sulphate Free but Gluten Free too and uses only natural ingredients. And although Davines products are not verified by any vegan or vegetarian societies, they do state they do not test their products on animals. You will also find the majority of their products do not contain ingredients derived from animal products (with the exception of those containing Keratin or Royal Jelly).
We also carry Paul Mitchell which is cruelty-free and the brand has a strong commitment to non-animal testing. Even going as far as to not sell their products in China (who stipulate you must test on animals to meet their standards).
“In 1980, we became the first professional beauty company to publicly stand up against animal testing. Now, nearly 40 years later, that pledge to our furry friends remains a driving force in all that we do.” – Paul Mitchell Website
It’s important that our guests get an experience that is tailored to their needs. So if you require a vegan treatment or have any allergies, then please let us know.
Try Something Different at Home
You can take home any of our Davines or Paul Mitchell products, they are available to purchase in the salon, and don’t forget to ask your stylist which one is best for your hair type. Whilst you’re trying out your new products, why now try a homemade hair remedy? There are lots of great natural ingredients that can be used as part of your hair care regime.
