Cutting Club’s Cleethorpes Carnival Princess 2015

Cutting Club began in the 1970s, in the heyday of the Cleethorpes Carnival when the streets were lined with fabulous floats, fun and fundraising opportunities for local community groups. So once again we’re thrilled to have been chosen by Young’s, Cleethorpes Carnival supporters, to ensure this year’s Carnival Princess has THE most fabulous hair for her big day!

Earlier this week, winner of the Grimsby Telegraph competition, Mia Enefer popped into the salon on Grimsby Road to tell us a little bit about the girl behind the Carnival Princess and why she is so proud of her hometown.

What do you want to be when you’re older?

I love arts and crafts, drawing clothes and sewing.

What are you most proud of and why?

I’ve improved a lot at school this year so I’m very proud of my hard work.

Who usually does your hair?

My mum.

Who has the most fabulous hair in the limelight right now?

I really love Katy Perry’s hair.

Where is your favourite place in Cleethorpes?

I am so excited to be Carnival Princess as I’m from Cleethorpes. I love it on the beach.
