Interviewing Our Newest Hairdresser Amelia:
Q.
How do you keep up with the latest hair and beauty trends?
A.
“In this industry staying up-to-date with the latest hairstyles and trends is important, I use everything from hairdressing magazines to red carpet events and even social media to help stay on trend.
My favourite source for inspiration at the moment is hair colourist Guy Tang’s Instagram feed, his work with colour and toners is legendary and his Social Media feeds have provided me with a wealth of ideas to use on my clients at Cutting Club.”

If you haven’t already seen Guy’s work we strongly suggest having a look.
Q.
What is your favourite Salon Exclusive Brand?
A.
“Well, as I have a passion for hair colour whether it be natural or exotic I would have to say Redken.
Not only do we stock an excellent selection of hair colour tones in our “Colour Lab” we also stock several ranges of colour protecting shampoos, conditioners and sprays specifically for coloured hair.
In my opinion, Redken is second to none when it comes to reliable and safe hair colour products.”

Q.
Do you have any advice for clients at home?
A.
“Without seeing a client for a consultation it is very difficult to provide useful hair care advice, hair types can vary so much from person to person and what works for one may not work for all; because of this my best advice would be to only use hair care products from trusted brands and to make sure your chosen product is well suited to your hair type. Remember if in doubt visit a professional hairdresser.”
