Design is powerful. Evocative. Exciting. It has the strength to  move, to change, to empower. It takes bravery to push boundaries,   go against the grain, create something new

Cutting Club is delighted to announce a fabulous new collaboration with prestigious Grimsby jewellers House of McCue. This exciting new initiative is open to all our valued customers, as we celebrate creativity and try to discover the jewellery designers of the future.

After 20+ years of friendship over a hair cut and cuppa, a chance conversation between our own Mr G and Sean from House of McCue, revealed a mutual love for artisanal creativity and desire to inspire and nurture young talents as they start out on their career paths. This developed as the opportunity to get working and develop Creative Love, a unique jewellery design competition open to everyone, amateurs and professionals alike.

We’re searching for that creative passion, a uniqueness and fiery desire to make and create, celebrating the best of artisan skill and creativity. You can sketch, mould, paint or draw your entries for a suite of jewellery and upload the designs to the website for a chance to win a prize that money just can’t buy.

The winner will be voted for via the website and promoted in social media, with their design being made in silver by the House of McCue team and sold. Not wanting to stop there and anticipating the amount of creative inspiration we’ll receive, other inspiring designs may also be selected for commission-based creation.

Pop over to creativelove.co.uk now to read up on everything the competition has to offer and the full T&Cs, but hurry! There’s just under a month left to enter with doors closing 15th September. Extended to the 27th of November.

Share and spread the word to give this great initiative a boost and fly the flag for fledgling British artisans. The best of luck to everyone! Please share with arty friends and family.
