It may be the day of love – but giving your hair the care it deserves is an all year round job. From getting regular cuts and colour, to using salon quality products, protecting your hair should be top of your priority list.

With each season there comes a new challenge when looking after your locks, we certainly put our hair through a lot, so it’s only right that we should take the time to ensure we’re looking after it with the right products and regime.

Regular Cuts

As hairdressers we can’t emphasise this enough, getting a regular trim with enhance the quality of your hair, keeping looking fresher and healthier for longer. If you have a very defined style it’s important to keep the shape and look of the cut with regular trims too.

Weather, hot styling tools, brushing or styling, each of these will have a massive affect on your hair’s quality, so by having regular trims you can combat split ands and frizziness.

If you can’t take the Heat…

If you don’t need to use heated styling tools on a daily basis, then don’t. Repeated drying, straightening or curling can damage your hair. Try air drying where possible, and go for a more natural look on relaxed days.

And if that isn’t possible, make sure you use a good heat protection spray like our Redken One United or Davines Melu.

We are big fans of colour here at Cutting Club,Cleethorpes – But we also understand the importance of looking after your hair after the colour process, not only to maintain your hair’s health but to prolong your colour, meaning you get more for your money.
